Hello! My name’s Carly and I have called this magical, unique little island ‘home’ since a friend bet us that the boat we were living and travelling through France on back in 2011 couldn’t make it all the way to Ibiza. We won the bet – we being myself and husband Mike…also my childhood sweetheart – arriving into San An bay accompanied by a pair of dolphins in August that same year. We fell so in love with the island that we decided to stay.
Years later, we live on land, still enjoy the sea as much as we can, are as in love as ever and have two gorgeous daughters who bring us plenty of joy, laughter and challenges! We are so happy we took the risk of coming here.
I’ve sung, acted and written since I was a kid and was also a Secondary School Drama, Performing Arts and English teacher in my former life, so am no stranger to public speaking or getting creative! I had toyed with the idea of becoming a celebrant for years, and renewing our own vows here on a catamaran in 2017 reawakened my passion for creating heartfelt and ‘real’ words in celebration.
I joined the Your Day Ibiza team in 2019 and am over the moon to have taken the reins in winter 2023. I am forever grateful to founder Danielle for taking me on, sharing her knowledge and then trusting me with the future of this beautiful business. I am also overjoyed that Ben chose to stay on and to have recruited two more incredible celebrants in Lisa and Graciela. 😉
I absolutely love talking to couples (and their friends and families) and hearing all about their love stories in order to create the perfect ceremony for them. Whether it’s traditional, romantic and heartfelt with meaningful readings and vows; upbeat and full of anecdotes, laughter, shots and singalongs, or a mixture of everything, my aim is always to create a ceremony that reflects you and your personalities.
No two people, relationships or weddings are the same, so why should the ceremonies be? And why should they be the boring bit that everyone wants to be over? The celebrating starts with the ceremony!
There’s nothing quite like the twinkle in the eyes of two people destined to be together forever, and it is an honour, joy and privilege to provide the words which make those twinkles shine brighter than the sun, or fall as happy tears.

Hi there! My name’s Ben and I’m proud to say that I am part of the wonderful team here at Your Day Ibiza.
First and foremost I am a big family man. My wife Claire and I were lucky enough to celebrate our marriage on this beautiful island of Ibiza in 2011, and together we now have 2 sons and a baby daughter. I love nothing more than spending quality time with them all and making them giggle.
Most people tell me that I’m the guy that’s always smiling, and people are always happy to share their romance stories with me. (My mum says it’s because I’m a great listener and very easy to chat to – I’ll take that, thanks Mum!)
Having been the guy standing up at the front of the aisle, waiting for my beautiful wife to arrive, and now to be the one performing the ceremony, I know that the ceremony part of a wedding day is definitely a serious occasion for all of us! But, some lovely smiles, fun & perhaps a proud tear to an eye are what I always like to aim for.

Hello, I’m Lisa and I am immensely proud to be part of the wonderful Your Day Ibiza team.
Calling Ibiza home – a long held dream of my husband’s and mine was finally realised in 2023 as our daughters flew the nest and our work situation enabled us to relocate from the UK to the enchanted White Island.
I bring to Your Day a wealth of experience as a marriage registrar and celebrant in the UK for over ten years and the privilege, honour and sheer joy of conducting almost a thousand couples’ magical ceremonies is never lost on me – everything from a few people you would probably recognise from the television to a spectacular 600 guest wedding at Blenheim Palace or simply a couple on a rainy day in Cambridge with two strangers for witnesses… and now I do the job I love – in the sunshine!
We have some of the most spectacular venues and vistas here in Ibiza which make the perfect backdrop to your ceremony. Add to that, the sheer magic of the island, our professionalism, experience and love of what we do and you have your second match made in heaven!
You have a unique love story and that should be reflected in your special day, whatever that means to you. Every aspect of your ceremony is adapted to your personal wishes and it would be my pleasure to guide you through from start to finish, ensuring your day is filled with unforgettable memories to last a lifetime.

Me llamo Graciela, nací en Ibiza donde he vivido casi toda mi vida. He podido ver cómo la isla asombra a todas aquellas personas que han deseado conocerla. Este es un lugar especial para conectar con el amor y la alegría de vivir.
Vivo cerca de la playa con mi compañero desde hace 14 años. Muchas veces nos imaginamos envejeciendo juntos y agradecemos a la vida el habernos encontrado. Tenemos un hijo pequeño que ha fortalecido aún más nuestro vínculo.
La promesa de una pareja a trabajar por permanencer unida a pesar de las dificultades, me parece revolucionaria y trascendente en una sociedad cada vez más acelerada.

Make your ceremony as Iconic as you are!
The Iconic ceremony service is about creating a ceremony purely for the two of you, based on your vision and your preferences, including the traditions you want, scrapping the ones you don’t and adding in elements to make your ceremony stand out from the rest and feel super personal.
The service includes a questionnaire, video calls and contact with selected friends and family to gather extra stories and words about you as a couple (or to include as messages).
Every aspect of the ceremony and the script is created specifically for you, and the final script can be a surprise on the day, or you can be involved throughout the writing process.
These ceremonies usually last between 20-40 minutes, depending on the elements you’d like included.

Timeless

This service involves the customisation of our pre-written Timeless ceremony script.
The planning process for this service is much quicker and easy to put together, perfect for busy couples or those who do not feel the need for the ceremony to be a fully bespoke experience, but which still feels personal, modern, romantic and fun and reflects you with all of the little touches throughout.
Customisations include a few highlights from your story so far, what marriage means to you, your music choices, vows, wording for the exchange of rings, a certificate option, additions or rituals or any other elements to make it unique and meaningful to you.
This ceremony type usually lasts around 20-30 minutes.

Effortless
$400€ + vat

Fuss-free ~ Rustic or beach location ~ Intimate in size ~ Adventurous ~ Romantic ~ Fun ~ Quick to organise and customise. Only bookable 6 months in advance. Subject to availability.
This ceremony option is for couples who would like an intimate ceremony (just the two of you or up to 10 guests), with no fixed venue.
It’s easy to arrange and put together, we’ll just email you some questions, and you tell us where and when you’d like us to meet you! Or for a more in depth service, Lisa can scout a location, arrange transport, flowers, hair and make up, photography and book you a restautant for after for an extra 200€.
These ceremonies are around 15 minutes long, and include an optional free keepsake certificate and optional cold bottle of cava or beer (your preference!) to toast with at the end to celebrate!
The Effortless is only bookable up to 6 months prior to your ceremony date – they cannot be booked with further notice.
Live Music Add on available for Effortless bookings with Carly: 350€ – Acoustic guitar and voice duo for entry, exit, during and 15/20 mins after whilst you take photos and celebrate! If you wish to book a photographer, please see the ‘My Friends’ section for recommendations and links. x
